Chicagoan progressive deathcore darlings Born Of Osiris have today announced that they are heading to Europe in February, bringing with them After The Burial, and meeting up with British bands Monuments and The HAARP Machine for a 21-date run stretching into mid-March.

I came to BOO later on in their career – around last year’s The Discovery, to be precise, and even then after it had been out for a while – and despite the album being a little long for my tastes, I dig it a lot more than I thought I would initially. It’s got some great interludes to cut up the tight ferocity of the rest of the record, including personal favourite “A Solution“.

I can’t claim any familiarity with After The Burial, so make sure to tell me what I am or am not missing in the comments, but I can certainly attest to the massive groove-laden intensity of London’s own Monuments, and throw in tech-metal conspiracy theorists The HAARP Machine, fronted by the incredible vocal talents of Mike Semesky, and you’ve got an eclectic mix that is worth turning up early for.

Dates are up in our Super Awesome Events Calendar, so make sure to go check and see if they’re coming anywhere near you!
