For our second slab of music from down under today comes from Australian hardcore band Deez Nuts, who have spent the past five years building a solid and respectable repetoire in their own country and around the world. They toured the UK earlier this autumn with Brighton band Architects, and have now had a favour returned with a guest spot on their new song from vocalist Sam Carter.

The track is entitled “Band Of Brothers“, and sees DZ utilising some acoustic guitar and Carter’s undeniably British cleans before the more familiar hardcore sound rears its head.

The track will feature on their forthcoming album Bout It. I can’t tell if that’s short for “about it” or some Australian reference to fighting (it’s unapologetically bro-y hardcore at times, so you never know), but either way, the record is due out early next year, when they will also be headlining the Boys Of Summer Tour 2013 across Oz, which runs from January 9th – 20th. Naming a January tour as such may seem backwards, but don’t forget their seasons are different. And also they live upside-down. Bless ‘em.

The trek will also feature Comeback KidFor The Fallen Dreams and Hand Of Mercy. Almost immediately after they head to Europe with The Ghost Inside, Stray From the Path and Devil In Me. Talk about a busy start to the year!

Dates in the events calendar, as always.
