So Georgian stoner/sludge band Kylesa – they of the two drummers – are releasing a rarities collection today entitled From The Vaults, Vol. 1, which features a selection of b-sides, unreleased material and older tracks reworked for the album. There’s also and entirely new track called “End Truth” as well as a cover of  ”Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun” by Pink Floyd.

With this being volume one, I’m sure they’ve got a heap of left-over stuff from their five albums, five EPs and and three splits ‘lying around’ for a potential second volume. That’s a pretty impressive career so far, especially for only eleven years, and they don’t look like slowing down.

What’s cool is that you can try this out before you buy, as Loudwire are streaming the whole thing over on their website. Pretty cool, no?

Along with this release comes the news that the band will be entering the studio to record a brand new album of new music that is totally new around spring next year.  We’ll let you know about the album when we know more!

From The Vaults, Vol. 1 is out today through Season Of Mist.
