Get your mangled earholes around Winters, the debut EP from The Five Hundred

The Five Hundred 2015

They say that one is the loneliest number, two’s company and three’s a crowd. So what does that make The Five Hundred?

Something sweaty, uncomfortable and more than a little abrasive, by all counts. Fresh out of Nottingham, the band are releasing their debut EP Winters this coming Monday – but YOU can listen to it right now, you lucky son of a bitch!

If the name sounds familiar, you might have already seen their music video for “Come Closer” on Metal Hammer Germany, Revolver, Heavy Mag Australia, or heard it on Alex Baker’s Fresh Blood Show on Kerrang! Radio or Daniel P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show. So, no biggie then.

But you know what? We’ve got the whole thing – four tracks of muscular, rhythmic shenanigans, perfect for the incoming cold weather. Who needs a scarf when you’ve got this? Without any further ado, yurr tis:

You might be interested to know that Winters was produced, mixed and mastered by Justin Hill (SikTh, Heart of a Coward), so that’s pretty cool.

You can keep up with the band on Facebook here, Twitter here and Instagram hereWinters drops 23rd November (that’s dead soon!) and can be picked up from Bandcamp.
