Good Tiger’s debut record A Head Full Of Moonlight coming early November
Progressive tech supergroup Good Tiger have been generating a fair amount of buzz since they announced themselves to the world at the end of July. An incredibly successful crowdfunding campaign saw the band – featuring the ex-guitarists of The Safety Fire, a former TesseracT vocalist, plus two journeymen of some repute – knock their target on the head within 18 hours, and ultimately fund their debut at 265% of their goal.
More recently they released their first single “Snake Oil” via Radio 1, but now that the Indiegogo campaing is all wrapped up, the band have announced a raft of tasty details regarding the album for which everyone has been clamouring.
First off, the art and tracklisting, which look like this:
01. Where Are The Birds
02. Snake Oil
03. Enjoy The Rain
04. I Paint What I See
06. Latchkey Kids
07. All Her Own Teeth
08. Understanding Silence
09. ’67 Pontiac Firebird
The album’s slated for a November 6th release, and has been pieced together across distance and timezones: it was recorded in studios in Los Angeles, Washington D.C, London and the Devonshire, co-produced by Periphery‘s Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (who has also worked with Animals As Leaders) and band guitarist Derya Nagle himself (whose credits include Frank Turner’s Möngöl Hörde and of course The Safety Fire). Additional vocal production has also been handled by Brandon Paddock (Set It Off and Volumes) and the effort will have been mastered by Kris Crummett (Issues, Sleeping With Sirens and Dance Gavin Dance).
Good Tiger will also be playing their debut show in London on the November 6th release – and it will be free, although a venue has yet to be announced.
If you’ve yet to hear it, or see the cool video that goes alongside it, here’s debut single “Snake Oil“:
