Londoners Exist Immortal have premiered a brand new song and video: “Edge Of Infinity”
We’ve run into Londoners Exist Immortal a few times over the past year. Simon and I have seen then a few times, including with Circles and Bovine last October, where they played a new song – a song which has now been given the single/video treatment. Enter “Edge Of Infinity“, which is the first track from their forthcoming album Darkness Of An Age.
We also saw them at UK Tech-Metal Fest last July; an event they fitted in with nicely. It was hot. It was sweaty. There were riffs. Is it rude to say they were in their element? Naaaah.
They’re really coming into their own now, having played around a bit last year (even flying out to India towards the end of the year) and whilst we’d argue that the tech genre isn’t exactly infinite, they’re not exactly on the edge of it either, and seem to be forging ahead towards the epicentre in fine fashion.
Here’s the video, in which we see the fivesome rocking out and frowning in some sort of dark refrigeration unit:
The clip was directed by Ben Herbert, and the song – as with the rest from the album, we’re assuming – was produced, mixed and mastered by frontman Meyrick de la Fuente. He’s proper exotic.
The boys will be on tour next week to start generating a bit of hype for the album; here are the dates!
Feb 17th – The Full Moon, Cardiff.
Feb 18th – The Wheatsheaf, Oxford.
Feb 19th – Bird In Hand, Stafford.
Feb 20th – Asylum 2, Birmingham.
Feb 21st – The Barfly, London.
