Second new song “The Escape” debuts from Intervals’ Forthcoming album A Voice Within

Intervals 2014

It was only a few weeks ago we were telling you that Canadian instrumetal band Intervals had picked up Raunchy/ex-The HAARP Machine/ex-Vestascension vocalist Mike Semesky as their full-time frontman, after spending much of the summer touring with him as their stand-in bassist. At the time of announcement, the group also released the track “Ephermeral” to show what their new set-up is like.

Three weeks hence, and we’ve got another new track, this time called “The Escape“. Check it out:

It further serves to elevate the dream-like nature of Intervals’ music – particular the softer, noodly mid-section. It’s undeniable that Intervals have hurt some butts over this vocalist move, but Mike is just that good, and this new material is ultra-catchy.

A Voice Within drops on March 4th. Intervals are currently on tour supporting Protest The Hero with TesseracT and The Safety Fire across Europe, and just announced the news that PtH and TSF will be continuing their shenanigans with Intervals in North America, along with Battlecross and Night Verses, through March and the beginning of April.
