The Ongoing Concept ‘Handmade’ this video. Be impressed.
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, noisy Idaho brothers The Ongoing Concept are working on a new album for which they made all the instruments by hand. Aptly, the record’s called Handmade, and they’ve today released the first single from the album called “Unwanted“, along with a video that is – you guessed it – handmade.
Their dedication to the concept is admirable, but although you can tell they’ve made it themselves – frontman Dawson Scholz is credited as director, and you can see them all filming intermittently – it’s still as professional-looking as you’d want from the genre.
Anyway, take a look for yourself:
This is not only the first song from Handmade we get to hear, but it’s our first real look at all the handmade instruments we’ve only glimpsed in teasers so far. These teasers are being followed with in-depth making of videos – as has the music video (see below) – so if it’s more Handmade behind the scenes footage you’re looking for that’s exactly what The Ongoing Concept are offering.
Literally – everything is handmade. The set. The editing. All of it. Wow.
