Early booking for Haken’s autumn tour, so there’s no excuse!
Whilst some bands announce their tours a month or two in advance, British progressive outfit Haken have decided to buck the trend by booking a tour for the autumn and announcing it in the spring. Like, now.
The tour will take in the UK and Ireland (or Dublin at least), and coming along are labelmates Leprous and Maschine, so it’s a regular old Inside Out Music party. Concerning the trek, a Facebook post from the band said:
After months of trying to keep this quiet, we’re extremely pleased to announce an extensive UK tour with none other than Leprous and Maschine later this year!!!!!!!!!
That’s a lot of exclamation marks. You should be familiar with Leprous from last year’s Coal, which was an excellent album all told. It was a big departure from their previous effort Bilateral, but an intelligent and well-calculated one.
Openers Maschine actually supported Haken late last year and put in a fine performance to a packed Borderline, so despite being slightly underwhelmed by their debut album Rubidium, this is one opening band worth a look for sure.
