Californians Touche Amore kick to kick off the summer with Tigers Jaw and Dads Summer

Touche Amore Tigers Jaw Dads Summer tour poster 2014

LA’s own post-hardcore heroes Touché Amoré have just announced a tour for just around the corner. They’ll be hitting North America – including both the USA and Canada – with Pennsylvanians Tigers Jaw and New Jerseyian duo Dads.

Touché Amoré released the very excellent Is Survived By last year through Deathwish Inc., which in itself is generally a mark of quality. It’s quite short – less than 30 minutes – so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve got a spare half hour or so. Check out “Harbor” below for a good idea of what you’ll be getting yourself into.

If you’ve not heard the other two, Tigers Jaw play an emotive, slow-burning sort of indie punk with some very strong vocals in particular, and despite rumours last year they’d broken up, they were only on hiatus, and are currently pushing their new record Charmer, which is out now on Run For Cover Records. Here’s “Hum” from that:

Dads, meanwhile, are apparently not actual dads, but simply a pair of dudes from NJ who create surprisingly-well fleshed out post-hardcore, and as their most recent EP title reflects, they are Pretty Good. The vocals, again, in particular, are quite something. Here’s “My Crass Patch” from that:

Seems like something you should definitely get to. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am (EST, probably). Dates
